Many records from Belize need to be researched further.
Frederick Edward Gabb, M.D.
Born 1839 in Wales. He was educated as a doctor/surgeon and practiced in Belize where he afterwards received an appointment as Resident Magistrate and in which colony he died in 1890.

Reverend James Ashe Gabb
Married to Mary Ann, a daughter of Frederick Samuel Secretan. Brecknockshire, in the later 18th century. Frederick Samuel Secretan (who adopted the additional names James Woodhouse, d. c. 1836) owned Arcadia House, Llantilio Pertholey, and the manor of Triley, Monmouthshire. Captain Walker of the Royal Artillery died [c. 1865].

James Gabb of Bailey Baker
James married Charlotte, daughter of Reverend Robert Ashe, Prebondary of Winchester, and niece of Right Reverend Benjamin Hoadly, Bishop of Winchester and some time Bishop of Bangor, Hereford and Salisbury.
James died in 1806.

Thomas Gabb of Bailey Baker
He married Alice, daughter of Henry Phenex or "Fenex, of Ramagate, he died in 1760.
Thomas and Alice's children:

-John - Clerk in holy orders died 1774 no issue

Thomas Gabb founded a solicitor's practicein Abergavenny in 1760. The firm of Gabb & Co. still practices out of the same offices in Abergavenny. Thomas Gabb practised on his own until 1781, when he was joined by Baker Gabb the elder (d. 1821), and in 1808 by his son, Baker Gabb the younger (d. 1858). There was a member of the Gabb family in the firm from 1760 until 1921.
From the 1850s, most family members seem to have either used Baker as a last christian name, or used a hyphonated Baker-Gabb surname. -Source.-
